Curriculum planning
Our school adopts "child-centeredness" as the core foundation of our school curriculum and designs the curriculum according to the "GRACE" teaching philosophy. we combine different teaching methods, such as high scope, project learning, and heuristic teaching method, together with real-life themes, group learning, diversity learning corner, as well as plentiful activities and games inside and outside school. We help our children build self-confidence through encouragement, affirmation, independent thinking, creative problem-solving and enhance their self-care and life skills. We endeavour to provide children with effective, timely and sustainable development in cognition, knowledge, language, skills, emotions, mind, character and health.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.

Learning / Teaching approach and activities
Our school follows the ‘GRACE’ concept of whole-person education and sets teaching strategies and directions based on the child-centered development principles. We refer to real-life themes and allow students to explore actively through rich corner activities (Free Play) and a diversified learning environment. Teaching methods range from simple to profound and from near to far, combining illustrated books, thematic teaching and cross-curricular knowledge, as well as adopting the self-directed learning mode of ‘Plan, Do, Review’. The school provides a wide range of activities such as project learning and Lego Stem, encouraging students ‘more participation more practice’. Through experiential activities such as science experiments, snack tasting and outdoor learning, students can 'learn from doing'. In a loving and joyful learning environment, students can enhance their language and social development through self-directed learning and interaction. They can also cultivate the virtues of treating others with courtesy and mutual respect, and build up a good attitude of ‘applying what they have learnt’, which will enhance their motivation to learn, make them love learning, and build up an enjoyable learning experience.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
The school applies continuous observation to assess students’ performance in cognition and language, emotion and sociality, arts and culture, and physical development. In the domain of knowledge, we adopt a continuous assessment tool and devise an “individual growth file” and we also help students build up an “artworks collection”.

We endeavor to train students to be confident and happy in character, fully able to face and solve difficulties.
