Curriculum planning
The curriculum is comprehensive and covers six learning domains by the guidelines of the Education Bureau, and a variety of learning activities are prepared according to children's abilities and interests. Through multiple learning games and activities, children can develop their self-directed learning attitude towards exploration, thinking, and asking questions, as well as the skills of learning and construction of knowledge. And based on the truth of the Bible, we cultivate children's moral education.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
Early childhood learning by designing environmental activities that respond to children's developmental stages and interests, gradually progressing from basic to advanced concepts. Children foster a genuine interest in learning. This approach encourages critical thinking, analysis, problem-solving, and verification, enhancing their existing knowledge through exploration and expanding their cognitive horizons. which fosters a genuine interest in learning. Increase children's interest in bilingualism and trilingualism through contextual teaching methods, engaging English games, and Mandarin lessons. Children learn to be like the Lord Jesus, know how to care and be grateful, practice the truth, goodness and beauty of life education.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
School will use the continuous observation method of children’s learning effectiveness. Teachers will prepare children’s learning assessment reports according to themes, integrate a child’s learning file in each school year, and show children’s developmental performance and growth process at different stages through records in different ways.
