Curriculum planning
The curriculum centers on the core value of "practicing a child-centered approach and equipping learners with future capabilities." It integrates thematic units with storytelling, a project-based approach, and whole language pedagogy to stimulate children's learning potential, aiming for balanced development in morality, intelligence, physical health, social interaction, and aesthetics. It strives to equip children with the "6C" key competencies for future life, including Creativity, Communication, Collaboration, Character Education, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, and Citizenship. The goal is to help children establish positive values and skills to meet future challenges.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
Child-centred curriculum that emphasizes self-initiated learning in young children. Activity-based teaching approach, project studies and whole language approach are applied through comprehensive, systematic and stimulating play and activities.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
