Curriculum planning
We covers five development goals including "moral development", "cognitive and language development", "physical development", "emotional and social development" and "aesthetic development". We aim to educate our children to attain holistic, balanced development in the domains of ethics, intelligence, physique, social skills and aesthetics.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
Our school mainly adopts the teaching method of "theme-based integrated learning", combining different themes and storybook contents with children's life experiences and interests to carry out teaching. We also provide a rich linguistic environment where children can improve their Bi-literacy and Tri-lingualism levels, and implement strategic reading program to nurture their interest and habit in reading. Use "free games" to inspire children to be independent, self-study, spontaneous and enhance their ability to explore.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
Our school records children's learning and development performance in the form of systematic and continuous assessment. Teachers will record data on children’s growth and compile them into learning portfolios as an evidence of their growth.
