Curriculum planning
The curriculum is based on the "Kindergarten Curriculum Guide" and tailored to children's development and abilities, aiming for a balanced growth across five areas of education. It encompasses "values and attitudes," "skills," and "knowledge" to promote holistic development and learning in young children.
To support language development, our school employs English and Mandarin teachers who enhance children's bilingual and trilingual learning through flexible and diverse activities and games.
Additionally, we provide integrated courses in music, physical education, and arts, allowing children to freely express their thoughts and emotions while developing their physical coordination, creative thinking, and aesthetic appreciation. The school also places a strong emphasis on character education, using picture book activities to instill positive values and a sense of patriotism.
Furthermore, we prioritize the development of free play, encouraging children to explore and learn through play, which fosters their social skills and independent thinking.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.

Learning / Teaching approach and activities
To promote the holistic and balanced development of young children, the school adopts a child-centered teaching approach. This includes thematic instruction based on real-life contexts and well-designed activities that cater to children's abilities and interests. We provide a variety of learning activities and areas that help children develop autonomy, problem-solving skills, and creativity.
Additionally, the school organizes visits, outdoor learning activities, and community service based on themes and learning needs to enrich children's learning experiences and knowledge. Participation in various performances and competitions further enhances children's confidence, teamwork spirit, and potential for artistic expression and creativity.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
Children's physical and mental development and learning performance are analyzed through continuous assessment. We provide observation records in order to give proper guidance and feedback of learning and teaching.
