The curriculum is based on the seven learning areas :- Communication and language ( English and Putonghua) , Literacy, Physical development, Personal and Social development, Mathematical development, Expressive art and design. Each area is implemented according to the level of the child's development.

The school approaches learning through structured inquiry from the age of 3 year ( K1) which is underpinned by the Early Year Foundation Statutory framework from Great Britain. For children in Nursery (N) age 2 the school offers a thematic approach. All classes have daily Putonghua lessons with a native putonghua teacher.

Assessment of children’s learning experiences

Students are assessment at regular intervals throughout the year and this information is shared with parents / guardians. It is compared to the developmental goals for their age and is tracked throughout their time at the nursery and preschool. Prior knowledge plays and important role and communication with families helps to fill in the gaps in the child's learning and helsp the teacher s have a clear understanding of the experiences that the child brings in to the class .
